For children who will receive 20hrs ECE at this kindergarten: $3.65 per hour Quality Education Surcharge up to 6 hours per day, 20 hours per week. $6.65 per hour for time over 6 hours per days, 20 hours per week.

20hrs ECE

This is a government initiative introduced to increase participation rates of New Zealand children in Early Childhood Education. The Government subsidises your child’s attendance. Kindergarten children aged three years and older are eligible.

To claim 20hrs ECE you are required to attest on your enrolment form the hours and days that your child will be attending kindergarten then the kindergarten claims this on your behalf . Speak to Angela prior to your child’s 3rd birthday to get this organised

Payment Of Fees.

( Fees/Surcharges are invoiced each term )
The Kids Club prefers that fees/surcharges are paid by electronic banking as this reduces administration time for staff and bank fees for parents. The Kids Club bank account details are available on the fee/holiday sheet. If you prefer to pay fees by cheque please add 45 cents for the bank fee.

Unpaid Fees.

If prior arrangement has not been made consistent late payment of fees/surcharges may incur a charge or result in termination of enrolment at The Kids Club.

Holidays.

The Kids Club is opened 48 weeks of the year, closing for four weeks over the holiday period and public holidays. Your child can also take another three weeks holiday each calendar year for which fees are not charged.

Drop Offs.

Please observe our session times. Our license only allows us to have children at kindergarten during these times. Additionally during non-session times teachers complete administration tasks, set up the daily programme and have their meal break. Please do not be offended if we ask you to wait outside if you are consistently early.

Late Pick Up.

Please endeavour to be on time to collect your child from kindergarten. It is understandable that unforeseen circumstances arise and you may be delayed, but if this becomes a regular occurrence you will be charged a penalty.

WINZ Subsidies

You may be eligible for a Work and Income NZ Subsidy to help you pay for kindergarten fees. This subsidy is income tested and depends on the number of children you have. Application forms are available from the office.

Developmental ages and stages

Our children are all the same… but different. The website link below outlines expected behaviour and development of children 0 – teenagers. If you have any concerns please remember that the kindergarten teachers are trained professionals and are always happy to talk with you about your childs developement.
